A nickname for Regina Buenaobra?
Quote:
Yes, this is my real name. I do not use any nicknames for my given name. 'Regina' is just fine. Please no 'Reggie' or 'Reg' or 'Gina'. :-) Some people have taken to shortening my handle, 'Brinstar' to 'Brin' or 'Brinny'.
|
Since she doesn't like the obvious ones and 'Regina' is too long. Also 'Brin' and 'Brinny' are terrible nicks IMHO and reminds me too much of Brimstone. Any suggestion on a good nickname? I was thinking:

She specifically asks for no nicknames but you thought you'd go ahead anyway?

Gaile is 5 letters,
Regina is 6.
Come on, 1 extra letter.
And people sometimes didn't call Gaile by her first and last name.....not a big deal.
But lol at Brinstar being a nickname for Britney :P

She simple stated she didn't have any nicknames not that she wouldn't want or mind having nicknames and I've exempted the ones she didn't like. Learn to read.

I stay simple Reggie lol, I don't care if she doesn't like it, thats life and she can't forbid simple millions of players to call her in the most easiest way, but if she should have really such a personal problem with beign called "Reggie", i think direct, this will be not a job for her XD
This is a MMO, here you get called, like people will and not an offline game, where you call yourself how you want and nobody else can change somethign on it
However, should she start crying, should I ever see her on, when i call her Reggie then, I might change maybe then instead to "Boonoobra" XD rofl j/k

'Obra' may mean: "Performance", "Deed", "Job", "Piece of Work", "Construction" and a lot of many things.
Spanish is language with a log of synonyms and words with multiple meanings. You cannot translate without context.

IMHO your nickname here is terrible. Shall I start a thread about changing it?

I don't think that this is interesting at all (not directed at you). Names are just names, we're not in GW where people send you (positive and negative) signals with their names.

SIX LETTERS!!!! Damn you A-Net! Damn you to hell!!! How are we to enjoy GW now that you've forced us to type one more letter when addressing the CR person? You go to hell and you DIE!!!
Regina is a fine name, leave it alone.

I do know all of that MithranArkanere. I, like you, speak spanish as a first language. I was just pointing out to that little details that I find amusing.
